Alpha - The Greatest Adventure in Life, Faith, and Meaning
Starting Monday, October 1, join others in exploring the person of Jesus and the basics of Christian faith by participating in an English-language Alpha Course. You will be warmly welcomed each week to a meal, social time, video presentation, and discussion time. You can explore one of the historical foundations of Canadian culture and one of the great religious traditions of the world in a non-judgmental atmosphere. Alpha meets every Monday at 7:30pm in room 108 at Huron University College.
Food and Faith Thursdays
Each Thursday when classes are in session (for example, not during Reading Week or exams) from 4:00-5:00pm, we invite students to join us for some free food and informal conversation around an intentional question that seeks to illuminate the various angles of the life of faith.
This is an informal weekly undergraduate student group that meets on Thursdays at 5:30pm. Fall semester the group is discussing the grand story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. More details available at Western Campus Ministry.
We believe not only that God exists, but that He is good, He loves you, and that He has an amazing plan for your life, a plan that involves so much MORE than you can even imagine. Join us Thursday nights at 7pm in UCC 65 for a discussion group about what it might mean, from a Christian perspective, to believe in a God who not only exists, but who is actively involved in every aspect of your life, in more ways than you might even know.
Graduate Christian Fellowship
This weekly gathering of grad students on Thursday evenings spends 7-8pm socializing and praying and then from 8-9pm engaged in an in-depth Bible study. The Fall semester is focussed on Habakkuk and the Winter semester is focussed on 1 Corinthians. More details available at Western Campus Ministry.
